FFS - Hopefully not round 2
Hey my lovely ladies - as much as I love u all I had hoped not to be posting here again but apparently not to be.
Went for my routine mammogram 2 years on from initial end of active treatment and ended up speaking to my surgeon yesterday about results.
Apparently there is some calcification in the remaining breast and after some Dr googling this could be nothing or indicative of DCIS - I had a lot of this In the right breast and I believe that because of the way it looks it could be suspicious but there can also be a large percentage that can be benign and quite normal post menopause.
Mammogram guided core biopsy today and 3 days for results - yippee - trying to stay positive and just take it one step at a time and trying to tell myself if I have to I can do it all again I can.
Keep all your fingers and toes crossed for me lovelies. I’ll post a pic of what I think is the spot they are worried about.

- Thanks @arpie, my daughter doesn’t even watch television! It’s OK, books and writing will suffice. I may have to explore Zoom however, we are trying to keep the choir together online. Unlike so many, I have no urgent appointments to worry about, strength to you all. Check ups can wait a bit. Take care everyone.
- A tip about Netflix @Afraser .... if you know anyone in the family that has an account - they can share their subscription with 2 others ..... I get mine from my stepson in NZ!! ;)
Hanging out for your 'all clear' @"Kiwi Angel" xx - It’s sad - it was gonna be 2 years clear in May, and it still might be but just a stress I didn’t need at the moment, unfortunately I know this worry is now my constant companion for the rest of my life.

Hope all goes OK for you. 5 years down the track I still remember that needle in the boob and waiting hours in the cold lonely machine for my slow metabolism to send the muck to the right place. Thanks for the memory (not).
All the best. Will follow your saga. <3 - First time I have thought seriously of getting Netflix! But I will resist - would be watching the screen instead of walking circles in the garden. Self isolation ends on Tuesday. Curiously not looking forward to going shopping but medications are running out!
- @Finch how much does this suck - round 2 of the anxiety - really hoping it’s just a minor bump in the road - the hardest part is staying calm with the waiting - which we all know.Thanks for all of u keeping me in your thoughts.Friday a wallowed in a bottle of wine - only allowed myself that one night - yesterday I cleaned the house and watched Netflix and today I baked a cake and prepped for a big veggie curry for dinner before more Netflix and the realisation that I now have to pick the shellac off my nails since all the nail salons r closed. Will give me something to do whilst I watch Netflix.
