FFS - Hopefully not round 2
Hey my lovely ladies - as much as I love u all I had hoped not to be posting here again but apparently not to be.
Went for my routine mammogram 2 years on from initial end of active treatment and ended up speaking to my surgeon yesterday about results.
Apparently there is some calcification in the remaining breast and after some Dr googling this could be nothing or indicative of DCIS - I had a lot of this In the right breast and I believe that because of the way it looks it could be suspicious but there can also be a large percentage that can be benign and quite normal post menopause.
Mammogram guided core biopsy today and 3 days for results - yippee - trying to stay positive and just take it one step at a time and trying to tell myself if I have to I can do it all again I can.
Keep all your fingers and toes crossed for me lovelies. I’ll post a pic of what I think is the spot they are worried about.

- Hey all u lovely ladies - luckily a very good outcome for me - came back as a benign mucoele type lesion so that was the best news - feel like a massive weight is lifted.Talked to my surgeon about moving forward and she said this could of happened to anyone and in retrospect could of stayed there but given my history was best to go ahead with surgery which I totally agree with.Finally some good news in these crazy times.Thanks so much for all your support - couldn’t have gotten through it without u all!! xo
