FFS - Hopefully not round 2
Hey my lovely ladies - as much as I love u all I had hoped not to be posting here again but apparently not to be.
Went for my routine mammogram 2 years on from initial end of active treatment and ended up speaking to my surgeon yesterday about results.
Apparently there is some calcification in the remaining breast and after some Dr googling this could be nothing or indicative of DCIS - I had a lot of this In the right breast and I believe that because of the way it looks it could be suspicious but there can also be a large percentage that can be benign and quite normal post menopause.
Mammogram guided core biopsy today and 3 days for results - yippee - trying to stay positive and just take it one step at a time and trying to tell myself if I have to I can do it all again I can.
Keep all your fingers and toes crossed for me lovelies. I’ll post a pic of what I think is the spot they are worried about.

- In recovering eating sandwiches and drinking coffee. Hookwire was not as bad as the biopsy and feel good now. Now the waiting for results begins ........ Again.
- @kezmusc just read your post - that fuckin sux - so stressful to know there is something in there but they don’t know WTF it is. This whole BC sux ass - the minute u let yourself relax a little it reminds u it’s never far away.
- @"Kiwi Angel"..............well, it's been a long running soap operal. You can catch up the drama on my post "scan day freaking sux" if you have an afternoon and a bottle of wine to kill lol.
Right now I am waiting till the end of this month to get yet another bloody MRI and see if the thing's still appearing. Hopefully it's at least got a few holes in it to know that they've targetted the right spot. So endless waiting and waiting agghhhh! - @kezmusc I’m sorry u have had shit like this going on too. What did they decide the plan was going forward for u?
