FFS - Hopefully not round 2
Hey my lovely ladies - as much as I love u all I had hoped not to be posting here again but apparently not to be.
Went for my routine mammogram 2 years on from initial end of active treatment and ended up speaking to my surgeon yesterday about results.
Apparently there is some calcification in the remaining breast and after some Dr googling this could be nothing or indicative of DCIS - I had a lot of this In the right breast and I believe that because of the way it looks it could be suspicious but there can also be a large percentage that can be benign and quite normal post menopause.
Mammogram guided core biopsy today and 3 days for results - yippee - trying to stay positive and just take it one step at a time and trying to tell myself if I have to I can do it all again I can.
Keep all your fingers and toes crossed for me lovelies. I’ll post a pic of what I think is the spot they are worried about.

- Thanks everyone - yes my surgeon actually said “we need to get it out but we can’t do it now” - I was like “but isn’t this urgent”? and she looked at me like she knew I was about to lose it. She couldn’t do it at the public hospital but can do it at private so glad I have insurance.

We all know the angst of waiting for the appt, then waiting for the results, however so good that your surgeon was happy to wait!
