FFS - Hopefully not round 2
Hey my lovely ladies - as much as I love u all I had hoped not to be posting here again but apparently not to be.
Went for my routine mammogram 2 years on from initial end of active treatment and ended up speaking to my surgeon yesterday about results.
Apparently there is some calcification in the remaining breast and after some Dr googling this could be nothing or indicative of DCIS - I had a lot of this In the right breast and I believe that because of the way it looks it could be suspicious but there can also be a large percentage that can be benign and quite normal post menopause.
Mammogram guided core biopsy today and 3 days for results - yippee - trying to stay positive and just take it one step at a time and trying to tell myself if I have to I can do it all again I can.
Keep all your fingers and toes crossed for me lovelies. I’ll post a pic of what I think is the spot they are worried about.

- The waiting is the worst...that's for sure. There are no words I can offer to ease your stress, but you are in my thoughts Kiwi Angel.
- The waiting sux - waiting to see if I will keep my job and waiting to see if I have cancer again.

- @"Kiwi Angel", I get how you feel, it is hard enough bitterly determined slog through the first time. If needs be more interventions, though, you will find the strength because you have found it before. Xx

- @"Kiwi Angel" It’s a real bugger, waiting is the mind numbingly worst part of all of this, especially when pain from the core biopsies cannot be ignored and is a constant reminder of what is happening...I’m sorry this is happening to you, fingers crossed for a good result . Love Tinks xx

- @arpie thanks love - home now q s my doctor actually emailed me the report so I could read it - indeterminate micro calcification which is marginally better than suspicious - now to just wait and see - should know by the weekend. Wasn’t as bad as expected but something I would like to avoid doing again. Will let u know what the results come in as xoxox
