Ive had a look at the product information of this drug. It works as oestrogen in certain tissues of the body. The company that makes it says not to be used in breast cancer or if there is a history of breast cancer as it hasnt been tested in breast cancer and it certainly works on the uterus in the same way oestrogen does.
It also says not to use in conjuction with oestrogen blockers - I assume aromatase inhibitors but i may be wrong.
So....yes it sounds like it may be a drug to help AV but maybe not in ER positive ladies?
Let us know what the onc finds out about it but I dont think i'll be taking it.
re your sister's treatment- yep its the same thing I'm talking about- PRP ie platelet rich plasma. Platelets have growths factors that stimulate collagenesis and repair and thats how the injections rejuvenate the skin/joints/muscle/tendons.
