Hi Ilana,
Great to hear you are coping well. Things are not always so simple. If there was an antidote to my allergy to Letrozole I would take it. I recently moved to Qld and my new Oncologist is supportive and works with the patient. Like me, he believes its not always a case of "one size fits all". Dosage studies have never been undertaken. What may be OK for one may be too much for someone else. We are all different. Our physiology different. Together with my Oncologist we are trialing dosages of Tamoxifen (I suffer vaginal atrophy causing constant and unrelenting UTIs - yes, I've tried all the over the counter non hormonal lotions and potions; see my post on Osperifeme). Tamoxifen is best option in that regard. My Oncologist also believes women are more likely to adjust to and stay on medication if they are "eased into it". My medicos know my system simply cannot tolerate Letrozole.
