Femara - To take or not to take...

Hi I was on femara for 2 years as my breast cancer returned (in my rotters node - near my shoulder) after 17 years. I had quite a few side affects and am now on Aromasen which is much better. Still some side affects such as aching joints, tiredness and very dry skin. Also have some blurred vision which apparently isn't to do with diminished eyesight. (Also had this with femara). When I told onc that Aromasen was better he said most women say that. My question is why femara in the first place. I'm still on 4monthly ct scans but apart from a few lung nodules that are very small, and not changing, all is well. Whenever I ask how much longer, I never get an answer! I'm now 70 so will eventually make my own decision I guess. Good luck. Lanie
