Hello,
I am on Arimidex and have been taking it now for nine years. I believe I can stop taking it at 10 years. A lady I know stopped it at five years and unfortunately, the cancer came back on her other breast. Arimidex also has the side-effects you mentioned such as aching limbs, etc. I take bone medication to help with this and would prefer the side-effects of the Arimidex compared to the alternative!
