I have been on Femara since February 2010 and yes I do have the same side effects as you. The biggest worry has been that at the start of the treatment my bone density test showed I had the bones of a young adult at age 52. I had another test 18 months on and I am getting close to osteoporosis so am now taking Caltrate to halt the decline. The other issue is the stiffness in my joints in the mornings but that has decreased since I started. Hot flushes i have had since February 2009 (I was diagnosed in October 2008 and finished chemo in March 2009). Hot flushes in the early days were 2 hourly, I could set my clock by them. Now they are mostly at night, frustrating and still quite often but I have learned to live with it. At this point in time I am well and enjoying life, watching my grandchildren grow up. I consider I have been lucky to this point in my life and I hope I have decades to go.
