We don't need menopause symptoms again - but then we don't need the alternative - cancer - either!! Like you, I would prefer to have the treatment. I've already been on Arimidex for 6yrs and now on Femara, probably for another few years (so long as there's no other serious side-effects). I believe the reason I have to take medication longer (10yrs) is because I had 12 lymph nodes removed, of which 3 were malignant. So far, so good. Thanks for your response - much appreciated.
