I'm a guy who went through the process, chemo, surgery and radiation and I was given the Mepitel film to help with radiation burn and the clothes chafing that causes most discomfort and rashes. My radiation oncologist said it was very successful for women. It only gets removed at the end of treatment or replaced if its come off prematurely. The severity of burning will depend on your skin type. Insist on the treatment you want and deserve.
