Feeling Nervous

Can you explain what an auxillary clearance is. Hope all went well for you Eileen.  

I was the same for the second surgery. I really didn't want to be there at all. But my neighbours came over and prayed for me before I left for the hospital and from there it was like a fairy story.

They let my husband stay with me inside the surgical preparation area. He was still with me holding my hand when the surgeon came in to mark the area and honestly that grumpy old surgeon practically skipped in to see me.  He was just so nice that day, I don't know what happened to him but I liked it! My anaesthetist came and got me for the surgery and he was a really nice one as well and assured me this time there would be no gas as that's what made me so sick last time.

As far as surgeries go it was fantastic. I couldn't grumble at all. Not that I would like to be having it done again but it was the best I could hope for.

Perfectly normal. Take care. Also if ongoing nerve pain is an issue following surgery..lyrica medication really helps...made a huge difference for me. Kath x

Hope you are awake now and wondering what all the nerves were about...although it's perfectly natural to be nervous!
