Maybe the past few weeks have been a little surreal but I am feeling good...lumpectomy & lymph node removal last Thursday and results today gave a negative in the lyph node and the tumour was quit...

Thanks for your lovely message! I see the oncologist this week to discuss the treatment plan but we don't think I will be having chemo so that will be good...but if I do, so be it. My mother has had breast cancer twice and is now 90 with dementia and my older sister had it 5 years ago..theirs were quite aggresivce and advanced and required mastectomys so I consider myself lucky at this stage.
Have always said if I got it, I would deal with it and have adopted my mum's mantra which was...lthis is not going to beat me!
Good luck with your treatment too..,.you sound very positive too!
