Feeling forgetful and foggy

I believe it's from all the trauma of diagnosis. Leading to added treatment time, dealing with symptoms and bodily changes that are a constant reminder of the diagnosis.
I know people who've had bad accidents and suffered similar trauma with fog going on so I think as bc is all on our mind all the time is so distracting and causing this fog but is really trauma. If that makes sense.
So perhaps it probably takes a couple of years to heal, learn to adapt and allow oneself to take control and feel safe again x
