Hi Fiona, welcome to our network. I've had exactly the same chemosynthesis that you are facing. I hope that these tips help: FEC you need to take your anti nausea medication, drink heaps of fluids to help you swallow when you eat, and have heaps of rest. I found that eating boiled egg helped to ease my nausea, so try that.My hair fell out exactly 14 days after my first chemo, so be prepared with your wig, hats etc. with the Docetaxel they used ice gloves to protect my fingernails and this worked well. I experienced joint and muscle pain, but used panadol with panadiene for relief. I got a metallic taste in my mouth, so fruit tingles helped, Also using plastic cutlery helped. Take it 1 treatment at a time and be kind to yourself. Sending you a big cuddle, Trace ??????
