Hi Ellie,
Feel free to private message me, I am happy to talk further on my experiences. I will be 49 this year. I believe everyones' cancer is different - even if it is diagnosed as the same type, size and stage. What works for one person doesn't always work for everyone. I believe one must take a wholistic approach to their lifes' journey in healing after cancer. This may include chemicals, meds that are prescribed by oncologists or drs. Eating a well balanced diet, gentle exercise and most important of all to hold it all together is to have a positive mental attitude.
As far as the personal issues, what would life be like without them. Everything we get thru. makes us a better person.
I recall a phrase I lived by during chemo. ' Out of every adversity comes the seed of equal or greater opportunity.'
I am trying Indole3 carbinole as I feel I can no longer continue with Arimidex. I have changed my diet and I meditate and do yin yoga. Every day is a blessing.
All the best.
