It can be. Do you feel a bit better of an afternoon or early evening? I am not a morning person. The chemo can effect the brain which is a sophisticated electrical system and it can be thrown off a bit for a while. I know that tiredness, you don't actually need to sleep per sei but you feel like a bus ran over you. Just listen to your body and rest when needed. Also, major important - get a thermometer and check your temperature regularly. You can be susceptible to all sorts of bugs especially coming in to winter and any temp 38C or over and you need to get in to emergency fast for intravenous help. Next time you see the chemo ward, ask for a purple pass card, well mine was purple. It has your patient number on it and says you are a chemo patient so no waiting in line with all the sick people in emergency in case you catch something.
