Fatigue
HI all,
I am just wondering how others have coped with fatigue. I can't believe how it has hit me at the end of my chemo. I get breathless just doing the simplest things and my muscles feel like th...
Ditto to all that you are saying. I feel like such a lazy thing. No energy but I have been ill since the summit (saw in a blog that you were there too - sorry I missed you) I just have no interest in "getting into anything". So pleased that my adrenalin was working so that I could keep going at the Summit. I am off to Brisbane on Saturday to see my daughters and their families so I hope to be feeling better. I am glad that I had my radiation prior to my chemo - would have been too tired to go everyday - also have to be away from home. I was really tired after radiation last time (jan 2007) but this time (March 2011) I faired much better. Get as much rest as you can. I have started a Mindfulness Course which goes for 8 weeks. We are all learning to look at and experience "things" very differently. Each day I have to meditate for 40 mins. I tend to get some "catch up" sleep during my session but manage to "come back" . It is a guided meditation and yesterday I "lost one and a half legs"!!!!! It also involves doing exercises with my breathing. Makes me take time out for myself. Very good. XLeonie
