EYE BROW WIGS
As the effects of chemo started to hit I was ok, I could cope with loosing my hair but loosing my eyebrows was another matter! I was hopeless at penciling them on, they always looked so fake and uneven.
Then one day a friend told me about these eyebrow wigs - made of the left over real hair from wigs . I immediately went to see the beautician in Bondi and had some fitted - WOW I felt fantastic they are SO clever, Real hair on a skin like back that is transparent once they are stiuck on you . Four different colours to chhose from , glue adhesive and brows $100 and they last for as long as it takes for your eyebrows to grow back - at least 3 months.
They stay for 3 - 4 days, then you just restick them - it's so easy and no one ever guessed they were fake. You don't even need them fitted you can just send away form them and stick them on yourself .

- @Kellee. I actually kept my eyebrows and eyelashes but lost the hair everywhere else. @Monique I love the eyebrow wigs what a fantastic idea! I think I would struggle resticking them on again myself though I reckon I’d look like that woman in that Adam sandier movie where he plays a plastic surgeon. Lol!
- @Kellee Mine thinned and had patches that disappeared. They've come back but nowhere as full as they were before. :/
- Wow @Eli86 $5000. My daughter is a cosmetic tattooist and she charges $450 that includes a free touch up in 4-6 weeks. Unfortunately we are in Newcastle NSW. I haven’t started my chemo yet and eyebrows (losing) was concerning me. I’ll definitely be googling these stick ons as I hope my old ones grow back or better still stay right where they are

- OMG you have made my decade! Graves Disease claimed my brows years ago leaving me with just a handful of scraggly short hairs on each side and they will also be gone soon enough. I even seriously contemplated paying $5000 for feather tattooing! This news is so great, it even rivals finding out today my sentinel modes were completely clear AND I don’t have either BRCA Gene AND findinding the cutest cat eye pillow for my Hospial stay on Friday. I’m so excited!!!!!

- @Kmakm the boot of my car is chocas with bags !! I've been using recycle bags forever ! If I need one unexpectantly I buy another ! LOL hence the boot full ! But I have been ordering online since diagnosed and they're packed in plastic so annoying & I have to pay for them even though I recycle them !Go figure !
- @poodlejules @Sister I've been doing in Melbourne since they introduced the reuseable bags years ago. I have one of the insulated bags open and then all the others folded inside. I hang the bag of bags on a hook in the pantry. I also keep a smaller set in the boot of the car in case I get caught short, which isn't very often. Once the habit is established it's pretty easy!
Mind you, getting my husband to remember them when he shops on the weekend is a whole other matter...
