Expander to Implant

I am due to have my expander replaced by implant on Thursday and have a sore throat. My specialist sent me to the Doctor but he said surgery would be fine. I don't mind delaying the surgery but then again I do want it over. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks Maree

    The surgery you are having is fairly quick and straightforward so if you have a minor virus then I guess they don't think it will be a problem.If you get a high temp and begin to feel terrible before Thursday you should let your surgeon know.I also think it wouldn't hurt to contact the anaesthetist you'll be having and run it by him/her. Ultimately,it's his decision anyway.Maybe start pumping vit c,hot lemon n honey drinks into you??good luck darl. Tonya xx
