Ended up in hospital for New Years

Hi Janet, glad you are home now. You'll be surprised what they can do to help with side effects. Like you, I spent 5 days in hospital after first treatment as I was so ill. My white cell count dropped to zero so gave myself a neulastin injection the day after exhausted chemo. Make sure you tell the onc all of the side effects so that they can adjust things accordingly. The kept adjusting my meds all the way through chemo to help. You do feel as though you just start to come good in time for the next dose. I just kept telling myself short term pain for long term gain. Take care and good luck for Thursday. Karen xox
