Last lot of blood tests showed a slight elevation in my tumour markers. I went and had another lot of bloods done this morning and will have the results next Thursday. If the markers are still elevated or have increased, I will speak with my Oncologist about going back to chemo. Fingers crossed.
Hi Amanda, I am having bloods done routinely every 2 months for the first year. Out of the umpteen tests my Oncologist requested all were perfect except for the tumour markers, so she had it done again to make sure. Fingers crossed. Kath :-)
I know it's a worry Kath but try to stay neutral.There are other conditions which can elevate those markers.
