Effexor
my oncologist has prescribed Effexor to help with night sweats/ hot flushes and sadness. What time is best to take it?

Efexor should usually be taken in the morning as it can keep you awake at night. However the important thing is to take at the same time and take regularly and not stop abruptly, as you can get light headed suddenly if you do. If you decide to come off it, it must be done very gradually to minimise those effects. Your pharmacist can go through more with you and provide a patient information sheet. Kath x
