zoloft 50 mgs daily
livial 2.5 mgs daily
i take these now. i too went through a hard time after chemo and early menopause. i tried catapress but it did not seem to ease symptoms too much. i had HRT patches for a while, but after 2003 lumpectomy.. no more HRT.
it is much better now, but it took a few years to settle. i urge you to discuss things with your doctor etc. do not leave it too long. those flushes sound very debilitating. rest is good too right now.. with all that vasodilation. it is exhausting! it does get better, but i am now used to going in second gear etc.
i too was irritable, and hated the intensity and out of control feeling my body was feeling when i had them. i felt better taking something. i wll probably stay on it , but not everyone needs to.
do take it easy susan, it is ok to ask for help. things change after a diagnosis of BC; adjusting to it, and acknowledging the loss and change, is part of the process.
hope the operation in december goes well.
hoping next xmas is easier. kathy .OX
