I am sorry too that you find yourself in this situation. It is very scary and a big shock. As you move forward with treatment you will find you settle down but it does take time and a committment to look after yourself physically and emotionally. You will hear everyone tell you to "take one day at a time". It is easier said than done in the early stages but with practice and challenging your negative thoughts that take you to dark and scary places you will find each day gets easier.
This site too is amazing and you never need feel alone as there is always someone here who will listen and encourage and support you.
