I agree with Deanne, it must be difficult having to care for a family. Mine are all grown and left home so if I wasn't up to cooking etc my husband did it.
To be honest I had such a hard time with chemo that I struggled with most things.
What we did in the house was have antibactier wipes every where, I wiped everything down after I used it.
I also had hand santiizer with me and used that, but really unless you are dripping into things it should be ok.
As for keeping busy thats a hard one, don't stress yourself out, so your best, I read loads through my chemo time, maybe knit I've heard others do that.
