  • Hi PETA:):) Over the years, there have been many posts on why some people seem to ignore,or be put out, when someone has a cancer diagnosis.I feel there is no right answer, the only thing that we know,is that it hurts:( For me,that is where this blog comes into play!!! Use this blog daily,if you need to.Share your feelings, your fears, your ups and downs, and DONT let the people who are so ignorant that they have no idea how you are really feeling ... upset you !!!! Lean on the friends and family that are supporting you,and ignore the rest!!! Try not to worry about having your breast removed.I had my right one removed also.It is not as bad as you think, and the pain is actually minimal!! Stay in touch PETA:) Cheers Robyn xox

  • Hi Peta, what a heavy load of grief you carry. This must all come as such a shock to you and your family. Yes, you are the one having surgery, but the roller-coaster ride of grief affects your family and friends too. So many people don't know what to say, some people couldn't even look me in the eye, it was just too painful. Try not to carry everyone else's grief and shock, you have enough to deal with your own feelings.

bc is awful and you have every right to be angry at cancer, but save your energy for looking after you - physically, emotionally and psychologically.  You are worth looking after. I'll be thinking of you on the 13th.

    keep in touch, Tracey xXx
