Poor Tonya having her ankle botched, and enduring so much pain and emotional stress. I can also relate jo1234 about GP not knowing a lot about BC.

I had some issues with returning to casual manual work, and lymphoedema worries, and felt it difficult to find information and knowing where to turn.
I am a lot wiser now, and speak up if I have concerns. Not that I can remember things so much these days..LOL.
Congratulations on finishing treatment jo. I also felt a bit strange, and it took a few years to settle into a " new " life. Time does heal in many ways, and the BC experience does fade into the background somewhat, though will always be there too.
It does change you, no doubt about it; or maybe it helps to turn you into the person you were meant to be. It certainly makes you philosophical, about why we are here, and our priorities.
