Hi Tonya, I know you are right when you say the odds of  92% are in my favour. I just have to keep believing that.  I totally agree with what you were thinking about stress . I have always thought that to much stress contributes to cancer too.  

Hey i must be vein too cause i would have slept and even showered with the wig on had it been me. No one would have seen my head either rain or shine. ha ha . It was bad enough lying on that radiation table half naked daily in front of all these women and men that i did not know gawking at me. I could not get use to it, it was so degrading to me.

I am sure my  Dr is loosing it. He has admitted that he knows nothing about breast cancer, so i might just move on to someone that can look after my health properly

You must have been in absolute agony  with your ankles. How can a surgeon stuff up so badly?  How can they use the wrong screw, that is really unexceptionable,  and it took him 5 months  to work it out . In that time the bone would have grown/fused  together. Was he from a proper orthopedic clinic.?sounds as though he was doing a backyard job. There is something very wrong with what he did.  The pain would have been unbearable.  He should be made accountable for stuffing up your ankle and putting you through the pain of it all for so long.

Yes i had bilateral (2) total knee replacements due to bone on bone osteo arthritis and mine went extremely well.  I still have a little muscle/ligament  pain and i cant squat or kneel properly  yet, but i dont limp now and can walk with no pain. I no longer  have bowed legs anymore (that comes when the cartilage wears totally off the end of the bones, and the bone-on-bone contact starts to break away.)

 My surgeon was fantastic. He and his team of 12 have been doing  about 2000 replacements per year for 18 years.  They were so impressed with me opting for both to be done together (not common) and also how quickly i became mobile again. (because i was not old ) Yes it was extremely painful but i needed  to  get it  out of the way.  If i did one at a time i dont think i would have gone back for seconds. I also could only allow 3 months away from work for rehabilitation. I was suppose to go back to work in July (diagnosed with BC in July)

Oh well thats life, we  cant be perfect  all the time, can we. Take care,   Cheers Jo xx
