Ditching the 5-year sentence of hormonal therapy?

From reading online it seems much of our problems are directly from Menopause which can be pretty brutal on its own. Women with no breast cancer may allay some of the symptoms with hormone replacement therapy but we don't have that option at all.
One menopause study said symptoms may extend for up to 8 years so I can imagine why we blame our Tamoxifen or AI's for side effects.
Be uplifted in knowing in a decade we will be better than ever before. We just have to ride it out. Thank goodness for this forum where we can have a rant every now and then and find some sympathetic ears. <3
