@"Kiwi Angel" I had never heard that about Vitamin D and mine is generally low in the cooler months (not much sun up here). Interestingly, I was asking my onc if I could fill an earlier prescription for Vitamin D last appointment, and he commented that they were told at med school that Australians would never need supplements of it. I don't know exactly how old he is but I would think early 50s.
As for side effects, when have most of the medical profession or society ever considered the greater impact of health care on women's well-being? We're either lumped into a myth of fragile flowers who complain about the slightest thing or we're some sort of super-beings because of our ability to cope with childbirth. Actually, we're just people, very similar to the other half of the population.
