Just saw the oncologist and she said she will discuss further after chemo when I am going to start on it but she finds tamoxifen better side effect wise than the AI’s. Since I haven’t been through menopause yet (they would do blood testing to confirm) I should go on the tamoxifen but if that doesn’t agree I can go the AI’s but I would more testing, injections to put me into menopause or have my ovaries removed - all very cheerful and she thinks these have more side effects. Will just have to take it one step at a time. She also told me that my vitamin D was low which has been linked with certain cancers, breast cancer being one of them.
