Well it is day 10 post surgery and I am doing very well but boy what a marathon it has been. There were no ‘major’ hiccups, thank goodness, even with fairly smooth sailing this operation...

Hi Sue, do you have a surgery date yet?. Have you already had your mastectomies? I don't know how expensive Dr Harvey is, but Pennington at $19K was about $10K cheaper than what my surgeon quoted for a double TRAM flap. If Harvey works out of the same hospital, he might well be a similar price to Pennington. If they do a good job, then it is money well spent, and you know with Pennington that he is really good. There are some around who aren't as good as others, so it is probably better to pay a bit more and get someone who is an expert in that field. All the best, and please keep us informed. Love Chris xx
