Hi Heather, I'm glad you have decided to go with Dr Pennington. I hope you will be very happy. Do you have a date yet for the surgery? I guess the Drs don't always tell you what you want to hear, but I think we need to listen, as they speak from experience. I was annoyed that he doesn't like to do the mastectomy at the same time, but he did say he would, but his experience suggested it is better to wait. ( this was one of the reasons I went with implants). If you are too slim to have both breasts done, it is good that he can see this now, so you can prepare for only one. I can't remember if I mentioned this, but the one lady I knew who had Dr Pennington for the DIEP, also needed a silicone implant onthe same side as she too was too thin. I haven't seen her without a bra, but clothed in revealing gym wear she
looked very good. She only had the one breast done,
but in a very revealing Tshirt, she had an amazing
cleavage, and you wouldn't know which was the real
breast or the reconstructed one. Her size was about a C
or D cup, and they both looked even and the same.
Please keep us informed with your progress. Love
Chris xx
