DIEP Surgery Done

Thank you Amy and Ann-Marie, this was just the kind of feedback I was after. I'm not expecting my reconstructions to look stunning when I'm naked of course (I wish!) but as long as they look good in clothes and eventually feel comfortable, I'll be happy. Have either of you wished you hadn't gone down the road of reconstruction? Will it be months or years before they fully settle down? And on a side note (I feel silly asking) do you regain a nice cleavage or do the scars show? I'm assuming the scars will be more underneath and to the sides. I know each case is different, but I'd like to know how yours look. Is it true you can go without a bra eventually, or will they always need good support. I've got a great plastic surgeon in mind. So many other girls have recommended him and all the nurses tell me he's the best. 30% of his work is fixing up bad boob ops. I know he'll answer most of my questions, but your personal experiences will alert me to issues that may not occur to me to ask about.
