Well it is day 10 post surgery and I am doing very well but boy what a marathon it has been. There were no ‘major’ hiccups, thank goodness, even with fairly smooth sailing this operation...

I was lucky enough to have my drains (6) removed before I left hospital. You will feel so much better getting it out on Thursday. Best wishes for your biopsy results, like I said in a previous message, it will be a relief to have surgery ticked off your list finally.
Well it's nearly 10am and I have had no pain meds yet - wow that's a big step for me. I will take some before my shower though, I still find the process of showering and dressing very uncomfortable and tiring.
Will you get biopsy results on Thursday when your drains are removed?
