did your employer know about the breast cancer before they started talking about making you redundant? You need to ascertain what award you fall under. Definitely contact the fair work ombudsman to find out where you stand legally. The NES are the broad guidelines but your award goes into the nitty gritty. Get as much info as you can on your rights.
