Diagnosed TNBC today

Hi All, Received my post surgery lumpectomy results today. Not the best news, stage 2IIB TNBC with lymph node involvement. So now a member of the TNBC group.. 2nd surgery on 14/1 for aux clearance, then chemo, radiation etc..at least I know what I'm up against now. Off on holidays on Thursday & will be living it up & try & not focus on what's ahead in 2014.. 3 weeks ago everything was normal, just goes to show you never know what lies ahead.. Wishing everyone the best in their journey.. Theresa

  • Hello ladies

just been diagnosed today wtih Triple negative, :(

This is after having breast cancer in dec 2007 and spending all of 2008 with chem and radiation.

was not prepared for the news today of another primary tumor which is triple negative. Had lumpectomy and sentinal node op last week so back into hospital again next week for aux clearance and then the merry-go- round begins All this on top of separating form my husband 2 weeks ago.

Does anyone know of any support groups in victora on the monington peninsula?

  • Hi Theresa,

I've had a similar couple of weeks (whilst not triple negative) and am a week post aux clearance with a minimum of 20 weeks chemo starting on the 9th of 10th Jan.

I can totally relate to so much happening in a short time frame.

Sending you lots of love and light to help you get through.  I hope you are having a wonderful holiday and enjoying yourself!

    Peta xx
