So glad to hear you are doing so well - it is hard to come to terms with being diagnosed - we all go through a reality check after getting such a shock.
It is so good that your twin sister is clear, and I hope that your daughters will be, also.
I also had my surgery at Pindara, and chemo and rads at the Icon & Genesis centres at Premion. They were all absolutely suberb. How lucky were we to have such a cutting edge and integrated team. This must be your last full week of radiotherapy, so time to celebrate next week - another milestone reached!
I am 2.5 years out from final treatment now, and feeling strong and healthy again. Like Deanne, I have adopted a healthy regimen of diet and exercise to give my body the best possible chance of staying that way.
