Dexamethasone
Hi all, So tomorrow is my first Taxol (dose dense) and my oncologist (Prof Chan in Perth) has put me on 10 x 4mg of dexamethasone - 5 12 hours before treatment and another 5 6 hours before treatment....

I had Dex with all my chemo and lots as a pre med with the Docetaxel I had three weekly. I HATED having it IV it made me feel pretty yuck. I tolerated it orally much better. It's to safeguard you from lots of unwanted side effects. Hugs xx
