Depression

yesterday I had my 6th zometa. Opposite me was a lovely young man who was not in a good state at all having his chemo. As I have watched my late husband die from cancer this young man looked to be in the same condition.

i am being totally selfish but why do we have to have zometa in the same area. I have had breast cancer twice and watched my husband die . 15 years of fighting this dam disease and I really don't want to see any more wasted sick people . My heart is broken ... Just want to cry and cry and cry some more.

i am posting this hoping it will help vent my frustrations ... Thanks for reading and sorry if I have offended anyone .

Hi Jane, is it worth having a talk with the oncology staff, so that they can sit you in a more private area ? Just a thought, I do understand as I lost my brother 4 years ago with stomach cancer, and it is so confronting to go through your own treatment having to watch others suffer. Come and vent on this site any time Jane, as we all do from time to time. Sending you a big cuddle, Trace ????????

  • You vent all you want Jane, that's what we're here for.

Sometimes the hurt and frustration goes to anger and that in itself can give you the strength to soldier on through.

My poor hubby get the ear bashing at home and that is cruel I know but he is my crutch to keep on going and he knows my gripes are nothing personal, I just need to get it out.

    We're here for you.
