Hi there, well another 8 hour round trip to Melbourne, got back last night. Saw PS and will be having a right breast mastectomy and reconstruction. Left breast will be made smaller at the same time. (Was told I didn't have enough tissue on abdo to make a big boob. LOL I though my tummy had enough for four) Even though it was a long day I feel that I am now finally moving forward. I will not need chemo, as not in lymph nodes and no radiation as there will be no breast tissue left. (Got told no alcohol from now on before surgery :( )
Will be in hospital for 4 days at the end of July early August. Then recovery.
Thank you to @kmakm for your support and information. You are now on a new fresh journey and I'm sure you will push through the down times and see the positives. @nikkid mine is right breast not left, not out of pocket yet but five nights accomodation as well as over 4,500kms plus tolls, plus food. So probably pretty good @melclarity followed your story too indecided about the tattoo but will cross that bridge later. @nicksta the MRI was weird felt like I was in a spaceship with aliens on my way to Mars LOL.
