@Chrismar If you had described the pain but not mentioned the cancer/chemo etc I would have said it sounds like fibromyalgia. I've had this in the past and you tend to feel like you're 100 when you wake up! (I had worst of it at 50.) I found relief from metagenics fibroplex, magnesium, turmeric and stopping a stressful job. @melclarity re plantar fascitis, I had a year of physio doing things from taping, rolling balls under my foot, water treatment, etc. Plus orthotics. No luck. The physio said that I needed a Drs referral for a cortisone injection in the heel which doesn't heal but blocks pain. Plus injection is sore. The GP said before doing that, if I was open to acupuncture he could treat me. He said after 4 weeks I would be pain free but he wanted me to come for 6. I had the one where the needles are attached to what looks like a battery charger! I was a bit worried but he could turn back current if too much. He was spot on. Plus I was bulk billed! I haven't had it since. Was quite irritated that I paid out for all the physio - but hopefully this may help others!
