Hi Dawngirl
I am pleased I came across your post.
I to am now looking like being in the 'grey' area for chemo. I was diagnosed with early breasts cancer - had lumpectomy, then re incision to ensure margins only to find had DCIS over most of the breast. This was then followed by a masectomy - with results stating that more cancer had been found but close to where the first was found. Was supposed to go on to Tamoxifen but now the 'team' now wants to see if chemo will make a difference.
Now it's on the table - wasn't until got results back from masectomy. I've decided that I don't want them debating my life and feel the same that want to make sure 'mopped up' any stragglers. Then do the tablets. That way have done everything to ensure the bitch doesn't come back.
What I want to know is how did you convince them to give you chemo? Or did they say 'up to you'.
Hope all going well for you.
