I've had a kale brainwave! I'll work it into spinach and fetta pie. As well as adopt the tips you've both shared.
At work now trying to get out of here asap, but plan to blog later today after I do some research on a paper just released on a theory that high dose antioxidants could interefere with chemo and radiation in late stage cancer patients.
It's reported in the SMH today -- as a lovely lady on here pointed out to me. I'm not a scientists, nor a doctor or oncologist, but the challenge with a story like this it is easy to read the headline and go slightly off course.
I am ditching the multivitamin because I simply don't need it with the diet I am on. It's just too full of all the stuff you need each day to need a supplement.
But, say I was very ill, and not eating properly, my oncologist (who okayed all supplements I am on before I started taking them) would advise a multivitamin makes sense because you are not getting the threshold minimum of what you should be. What is a contentious area of reasearch is whether high doses of antioxidants feed cancer (whilst simulataneously there is research which shows it can be protective against cancer in those who don't have it).
More to follow.
Have great days everyone.
