Hey Ladies,
It's day 4 of my first chemo and all in all i'm doing okay, I found yesterday hard work, felt awful all day but took your advice and didn't do too much. When I wake I feel the worst, headache, awful furry mouth, and only sleeping on and off at the moment.
I have been living on those lemonade icy poles Tonya! Thank you! xx
Apart from feeling a little fragile, so far so good.

Sounds like you are hanging in there Penny.I remember having the most terrible headache for 3 days and when I rang the chemo unit they just told me to go to my gp.I could hardly get my head off the pillow let alone go to a gp who probably would have told me to ring the unit anyway.I treated myself with panadiene and hid under the doona till it went away.Don't ignore a high temp. though.That landed me in hospital in isolation for 4 days and no white cells. That was around day 10. Just take each day as it comes and stay away from the public and their germs!
