Day 22

Well, the op is done! I am currently lying in the hospital bed on the road to recovery.

Pain wise things are starting to ease up. Yesterday and last night I was in agony! A few shots of morphine did the trick though! Today they have me on regular pain medication which is definitely helping.

On a REALLY positive note, they found that the cancer hadn't spread to my nodes, which is brilliant news. Also I don't have a drain for some reason which is also good news! My mastectomy and tissue expander implant all went well, and despite it being much smaller than the other one at the moment (which is a DD!) it actually looks really good!

Barring the pain, which is now controlled due to the meds, I am actually feeling really well. Who would have thought!

    Clear lymph nodes- that's the news we all want to hear.Rest up and hope your recovery goes smoothly and quickly.
