Hi Al
I'm so pleased to hear that you're picking up. I, like you, was really worried after the 1st dose about the low immunity time (particularly given my so low neutophils before chemo even started). I think that your awareness and common sense will hold you in really good stead even if it is winter. My neutrophil count actually dropped to 0.1 on Day 6 and my oncologist admitted when I lined up for dose 2 that he was actually considering putting me in hospital as a precaution!! I kept up my walks and taking care and got through so am confident you will too. Yesterday (day 10 after 2nd dose) my levels were almost 'normal' - whoopee!!!
Let's hope the 2 weekly cycle works okay for you - sometimes 3 weeks seems too long (because I want it over and done with) but then I suspect when I start the Docetaxel I might need the longer recovery.
Take care and all the very best for a really great week or so before your next dose.
