D Day: Surgery

Morning, Still 24 hours till the results come through, I'm trying to keep busy but it's still a drag. I am in Hobart, and I have a friend who has had her breast removed she told me it was a 5 yr waiting list. I haven't spoken to my surgeon about reconstruction yet as it was the last thing on my mind when I found out. He has told me initially that I will have to have chemo and radiation afterwards, as I had a positive biopsy results from my nodes, but this will be confirmed tomorrow. Where are you located? Are you in the public (me) or private system? It sounds like you have already started the beginnings of your reconstruction. Wow that is fast, maybe i need to move? Suzicu
